Taches de déodorant sur les vêtements : comment s'en débarrasser ?  - Endro Cosmetiques

Nothing is more practical than a good deodorant. It can be carried everywhere you go and helps cover up bad odors when you sweat.

The problem is that deodorants tend to leave marks on clothes. Most of the time, these are yellow or white marks under the armpits.

Instead of leaving your old wardrobe at the bottom of your drawer, discover how to easily get rid of deodorant stains on your clothes. You'll be able to wear your shirts and t-shirts for longer!

5 EFFECTIVE INGREDIENTS AND METHODS TO GET RID OF STUBBORN DEODORANT STAINS

Have marks been on your clothes for several hours, or worse, several days?

Don't panic: with a little effort, they can be removed.

1- Ammonia:

Thanks to ammonia, dealing with deodorant marks is child's play! Simply dilute it in cold water, then apply it to the area to be cleaned. Once the stain is gone, rinse the garment with soapy water before washing it as usual.

2- Aspirin:

To wash with aspirin, get a basin of water and fill it enough to soak your clothes. Add a capful of hydrogen peroxide and an aspirin tablet. Leave your stained laundry in it for an hour. Finally, finish washing by hand or in the machine.

3- The baking soda and white vinegar combo:

Mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 of white vinegar. Then apply this mixture to the deodorant stain you want to remove. Let it sit for a good ten minutes. Finally, wash your garment as usual, by hand or in the washing machine.

4- 70% alcohol:

Take a little cotton or a compress to dab the alcohol on the stain. Rinse. Does the stain persist? Repeat until it's gone!

5- White vinegar:

Here's one of the simplest methods for dealing with deodorant marks:

1. Fill a basin with hot water,

2. Add white vinegar,

3. Soak your stained clothes for about an hour,

4. Remove everything and rinse with clear water,

5. Finally, wash by hand or in the machine.

GETTING RID OF RECENT DEODORANT STAINS

Sometimes stains form even before you've really worn your clothes. When putting them on, they can rub against freshly applied deodorant.

In this situation, the faster you react, the easier they will be to remove. We reassure you, though, if you're in a hurry: it's not vital either (although).

As soon as you spot a stain, run cold water over your garment. It doesn't come off? In that case, don't hesitate to use a little bar soap, preferably: it will be much more practical!

If there's a lot of deodorant on your t-shirt or shirt, start by removing the excess.

Then, place absorbent paper on it. Over this, run a hot iron: this helps the paper absorb the deodorant. Once this is done, wash your garment by hand to make the stain disappear for good.

PREVENTING DEODORANT STAINS FROM FORMING ON YOUR CLOTHES

The best way to have stain-free clothes is to prevent their formation in the first place. For this, you can turn to anti-stain deodorants.

Before applying it to your armpits, remember to remove as much moisture as possible. Indeed, its presence promotes the development of bacteria, and thus stains.

If you've just showered, dry yourself thoroughly, while being gentle: the goal is not to irritate your skin by rubbing too hard!

If you sweat a lot, remember to carry a small towel with you. It will help you dry your armpits before applying your deodorant.
